Michael Vick Suffers Concussion In Loss To Falcons

Michael Vick’s return to Atlanta to face his old football team did not end the way he’d hoped. Despite starting the game using a fundamentally sound efficiency, his Eagles fell to the Falcons 35-31. Vick’s efficiency within the dome was up and down as he abandoned his trademark footwork and remained within the pocket delivering a lot more disciplined throws. He scored two touch down passes but also fumbled the ball twice and threw 1 interception.

The Eagles had been ahead 31-21 when Vick left the game having a concussion. Backup Vince Young was out using a hamstring injury so third string QB Mike Kafka was literally left holding the ball.
