“You built a factory available? Very good for you. But I need to be clear: you moved your goods to industry on the roads the rest of us paid for; you hired workers the rest of us paid to educate; you had been safe inside your factory due to police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to be concerned that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory, and hire a person to protect against this, due to the work the rest of us did.
“Now look, you built a factory and it turned into some thing terrific, or a great idea? God bless. Keep a massive hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the subsequent kid who comes along.”
If she beats Brown, not a feat to be taken for granted, there is certainly going to be lots of noise about her as a candidate in 2016. Republicans may perhaps wish they confirmed her for the chairmanship of the Consumer Economic Protection Bureau and kept her out of electoral politics.
