Stansted, hospitals and police are all robbed of copper

Two London hospitals, Stansted airport and police communications are actually targeted by copper thieves within the final year, according to a brand new report.

The soaring price of copper has even observed the removing of entire bus stops by criminals who sell them for the black marketplace.

Deputy Chief Constable Paul Crowther, from British Transport Police, said: "These kind incidents make a difference to issues just like the police radio."
