Tuesday is National Taco Day.When you didn't get me anything, do not be concerned. You still have the time.
Pollo Campero, with 3 locations in Dallas, might be giving out Campero chicken tacos right through the day. (One per consumer.) The tacos are a brand new food selection at Pollo Campero, an international chain that started as a family-owned restaurant in Guatemala in 1971.
The Dallas shops are at Cockrell Hill Road and Interstate 30, Preston Road plus the Bush Turnpike, and Northwest Highway and Webb Chapel Road.
Taco Cabana will likely be providing absolutely free chicken fajita tacos at all places from five p.m. to eight p.m.
And Fuzzy's Taco Shop, with several North Texas places, will be offering tacos for just a buck (dine-in only).
If other taco joints may also be providing specials to celebrate National Taco Day, please identify, and I'll try to add that information.
