June 1, 1945, Ir Soekarno, in a speech in front of the Investigation Agency Efforts Preparation of  Indonesian Independence (BPUPKI) have explored the values that live in the Indonesian community and the offer to serve as the basis of state for the Republic ofIndonesia to estabilished.

In the era of the idelogical struggle at the time, Nationalism, Communism, and Islam, requered the presence of a base or common values that can be agreed upon as a foundation of statehood. And that Pancasila.

Politicial event that have colored the Indonesian Independence enough to give shock to the Constitution of Indonesia. In 1957 - 1959 the firse shock occurred and resolved by the Presidential Decree of 1959 which states back to the 45 Constitution. The second shock that occurred after the outbreak of the 1965 event made Soekarno too "resolved".

Until now, although the Pancasila and the Constitution 45 was "regraded" as the Constitution of the state, is still on going debate among others, declared on 18 Agust 1945. Also mentioned, the main concept of Pancasila came from Mr. Muh. Yamin, who spoke earlier of Bung Karno.
