Maradona coached club middle east



Dubai - Diego Armando Maradona to continue his career as a football coach in the Middle East. Argentine football legend has received bids for the club menukangi United Arab Emirates, Al Wasl.

Maradona, who are unemployed since no longer handle the Argentine national team after the World Cup in 2010, was contracted for two years by the Al Wasl. He will begin work at the competition in the United Arab Emirates starting in September.

"Al Wasl Sports Club became synonymous with the attainment of this quality, and very pleased to welcome Maradona the long line of awards in the history of the club," said the chairman of Al Wasl, Marwan Bin Bayat, as quoted Yahoosports.

Maradona has visited the training complex Al Wasl on Saturday. Official club did not want to explain the details of contract Maradona and just say that the contract lasts two years and Maradona are responsible for leading the club to "new heights".

Al Wasl is currently perched in fourth domestic league, which will expire next bulab. They do need a new coach after firing Sergio Farias in March last.
