Globalization has become the ideology of the world that can not be avoided. Almost no country is willing to take the option to shut down. Like it or not, all countries eventually open up to the mainstream of globalization.
The main characteristic of globalization, among others, characterized by free trade. All free nations to compete and treated equally. All countries are entitled to obtain and sell goods and services required.
In such systems, distribution of profits is believed to be spread evenly. Unfortunately, the facts say otherwise. See, for example, the implementation of agreements of ASEAN-China free trade, known as ASEAN-China free trade agreement (ACFTA).
Boro-boro sprayed profits, concerns many people will negatively impact free trade has become a reality. At least, since more than a year ACFTA enforcement, national industrial production was down 50%.
It is conceivable due to its continuation, the industrial sector was forced to cut its headcount by 20%. In fact, the accretion of new labor force reached 2 million per year. That just means the number of unemployed continues to terdongkrak up from 8.9 million in 2009 to 9.2 million people this year. Not only that, other statistical figures are increasingly led to anxiety.
Look at the trade balance continues bruised. In 2006, Indonesia is still enjoying a surplus of U.S. $ 39.7 billion, while this year's drop was only U.S. $ 22.1 billion.
Tergerusnya trade surplus, one cause, due to increasingly import-export balance lame Indonesia and China. In 2000-2007 Indonesia-China trade balance is still balanced, but instead gradually Indonesia deficit. In 2010 alone, Indonesia's trade deficit with China has reached U.S. $ 7 billion.
Data that reflect so rapid flow of goods and services from China to Indonesia, ranging from commodities such as pins insignificantly until the goods actually have a lot in this country.
When all the tendency is allowed, sempurnalah Indonesia being the loser.
